KIRK by AMEL Shipyards is a robust and cleverly designed sailboat. Proven in offshore sailing under the most challenging conditions, it has traversed all the world’s oceans.

Renowned for its construction quality, durability, and seaworthiness, “BARRICA III” has been refitted and meticulously maintained, ready for a new adventure.

Engine:

• NANNI DIESEL N3.30 (2008) – 30 HP (1,200 hours to be confirmed).
• Maintenance performed in March 2024 by a professional (belt, oil filter, fuel filter, impeller, oil change, one engine mount replaced).
• NEIMAN starter switch replaced in March 2024, alternator replaced in November 2023.
• Fuel capacity: 100L.
• 100Ah starter battery replaced in September 2022.
• Direct shaft drive, tiller steering.

Note: Hydrolube bearing needs replacement.

Interior Layout:

From bow to stern:

• Forward cabin: Sleeps 2.
• Bathroom: Marine toilet, sink, shower, storage, and hanging locker.
• Saloon: Sleeps 3, with foldable table.
• Aft cabin: Sleeps 2.

Total: 7 berths.

• All mattresses replaced in 2022 (12cm thick foam with covers).
• Interior repainted with TOPLAC paint in September 2022.
• Lighting installed in all berths, chart table, galley, and saloon.
• Ample storage under seats, above beds, and in cabinets, with anti-roll features for each berth.

Saloon:

• Foldable table with convertible support.
• Large chart table with 2 USB ports (2022).

Galley:

• ENO 2-burner gas stove with gas connection kit (2022).

• Removable forestay with foresail options (Foc 1/Foc 2).

  • 2 XUNKEL panels (190W each) with VICTRON ENERGY MPPT 30A controller (2023).
  • 2 additional solar panels (115W each) with MPPT 20A controller.
  • Controllers work in synergy via Bluetooth for optimal charging.
• VICTRON SMART Bluetooth charge monitor.
• 2 AGM auxiliary batteries (150Ah each, 2021) connected in parallel.
