Magnificent 1952 Herreschoff Islander sailboat, number 2 in the series, 6.50m x 1.69m, mahogany hull on bent oak rails, deck redone in plywood with painted glass cloth, roof covered in teak, bronze fittings, Celoron blocks, 2 bronze genoa/spinnaker sheet winches, 3 Celoron halyard winches (note that the halyards return through the inside of the mast, are sent aft, and return to the winches under the aft deck), cabin with anchor locker and 2 V-shaped berths with mattresses. All the varnishes (8 coats) and lacquers have been redone in 2021, with 2 additional coats in 2022.
The rig and sails are complete: Spruce varnished mast, boom and spinnaker pole, stainless steel mast fittings, bronze genoa furler, new mainsail and North genoa (5 runs), champagne-coloured jib, and used spinnaker in average condition.
The Sunway 2-axle trailer with 2008 registration is included in the price; both axles and the drawbar were replaced in 2022.
